Rivington Soaring Association was formed in 1973 and is dedicated to slope soaring radio-control gliders and sailplanes on the Rivington Estates and surrounding slopes. The Association was originally formed to provide third party insurance for its members and to safeguard the future interests of slope soarers on the Rivington Estates. The club is located in an area known as Rivington Pike, not far from Bolton, Lancashire, UK, and has three official slopes (though we do fly at other slopes, see 'RSA Official Sites') available to take advantage of different weather conditions - and all affording some wonderful views.
If you are interested in seeing what it's all about why not come along and take a look? Check the 'Where and When' page to see if and where we are flying as we don't have set times and places!
